I want to shorten my bike a tad, and have bought a 7mm Works Components headset. I've heard that reach-adjust headsets can have a tendency to rotate over time, requiring them to be removed and re-inserted. Something I'd like to avoid.
I also (obviously) don't want to permanently bond it in place...
What's the best stuff to apply to it which might prevent it from moving, but still be able to knock it out without damaging the frame when the time comes? And (ideally) help with the initial insertion?
(It's a shame headtubes/headsets aren't keyed, but I guess when they came up with the ahead spec no-one foresaw reach-adjust and anglesets)
Thanks!
