Regarding an attempted bike theft last yr

(ignore video link in above it's old)

Received a letter today from the Transport Police stating that the perp had been convicted of the attempted theft and I'm due £60 compo apparently. I'm not holding my breath for payment but a good result 🙂

do you get 10 minutes to smack the crap out of him in a boxing ring if you give up the £60? surely that would be natural justice

Now that BTP are going to be issued GUNS, wonder if open season will be declared on bike thieves,

I imagine the plod will continue to treat bicycle theft with the same indifference they always have done, tbh.

Good outcome for the OP, but a rare case if truth be told.
