I am thinking of getting my 5 spot stripped and powder coated again.

Is there anything I need to be aware of i.e. Using a lower temp when they coat it etc?

I also need some inspiration on a colour. Not sure whether to go lairy or subtle?

I have White forks and anodized blue bits so need something to match?

Any ideas ?

Either strip it raw or do it fluro yellow.

Whites and creams work best with blue bits. I used bike cad when designing mine.

I'm going to get the Flux done.

Lad I know does it. He done a hardtail a bit back in disco black metallic which looks well.

I'm fancying Yellow front triangle with metallic snowflake and clear powder coated raw rear end.

White with snowflake or finer blue tint metal flake would look well Renton

Sorry bud, I'm 260 mile away and there's a fair few powdercoaters locally so have never needed to look further

Raspberry pearl. That's the colour I want if ever I undertake such a task.

DOWNHILLDAVE - did you lacquer over the transfers? If so, did you do the whole frame or just over the decals?

eskay, no lacquer. They are stickers, had three sets made to my design in the normal Turner style. I am waiting for some heli tape to arrive. Bought three sets in case they get damaged 😉 The powder coaters would not lacquer over stickers. The origonals did eighteen months.
