I'm in the middle of converting a set of stans arch on pro 2 evo hubs to boost spacing. I've got the hope conversion kit ordered.

I know I'll have to re-dish the wheel 5mm what's involved? And more importantly how easy is it to do.

Thanks

If it's straight and in decent nick you can usually just tighten the spokes on the side you want to dish it towards. Lots of small movements, I'd go round the wheel in half turns. It'll probably want some finetuning at the end

A lot of people will recommend also slackening the opposite side but personally I've not had that many wheels where I wasn't happy putting more tension in overall, and slackening spokes is a bit less predictable

If you have a spoke key, wheel stand and dishing stick, it's easy but you can do it on an upturned bike with a bit of care. A 4"adjustable engineering square is particularly useful tool if doing it without a stand - my wheel jig isn't big enough to take fatbike hubs, so this is what I have to use.  Redishing by 5mm probably needs in the region of about 3-5 turns of the nipple - there's no way I'd crank-up the spokes on one side of a wheel by that much without loosening them on the other. As said, be methodical working your way around the wheel, 1/2 turn at a time.
