RC31 forks, 29er front wheel and v brake mounts, will it work? Thinking 440mm ones, Pace V brake mounts.....

why not use disc brakes?

I'm running 440mm ones with a 29 wheel and avid BB7. I guess if you have the v brake adapters they could be moved up but for the cost of a BB7 caliper and disk why not change.

I doubt it with 29" tyres, but it worked for me with 700c rims & cross tyres.
If your really stuck then email me & I'll dig out the pics & send them to you so you can work out the clearance.
