Builting my new bike, it has an internally routed rear brake hose.
A brief shake of the bike seems to show it will rattle a lot...
My gf has a specialized Chisel and all the internal routing is sat inside a small bore foam tube.
Does anyine know where i can get this stuff? Its like pipe insulation but for a brake hose...
thanks
Had this on my space chicken, take a thin section of duct tape, pull the cable taught and then wind the tape onto the cable to act as a stop, that will hold the cable suspended inside the frame.
Worked for me.
thanks guys!
I need to bookmark this thread, my Norco Sight rattles like a couple of sh*gging skeletons.
Someone on Mtbr used window sealant like this to stop his cables rattling:

I bought some 3m adhesive outer mounts, i run my cabling externally now.
Sugru is the best stuff to use. It can easily be removed too. You can mould it and it doesn't stick to anything you don't want it to.
I use air con closed cell insulation. I think it's about an 8mm bore, but close enough.
Another idea is to attach several zip ties but don't cut them. The long ends then suspend it from the frame.
Just ram a bit of cheap ass pipe lagging into the offending tube, job done for pennies
