Did anyone else do Rapha M2L this weekend?
I did it 3 years ago and it was some of the worst 17 hours of my life, found it really hard and grueling. Forward 3 years and it turns out that losing 2 stone and running marathons does wonders for the fitness. 220 miles in 15 hours (13:31 of those moving) and I loved every pedal stroke. I'm already planning for next year to try and drop another hour off the time.
Brilliant, brilliant day out and I'd urge all those interested in long distance rides to take a look at it, it's an awesome event,
I did it 4years ago and loved it.
Coming into town at sunset was quite emotional.
Not done it since, but mates do it every year. One rode up and back in the same day.. nutter. But then he’s just finished the TransCont..
Are you in the RCC ?
@bikebouy Not in the RCC, I felt like I was about the only one not in club kit, loads of people in black, grey and pink.
London at sunset was good but the peaks at sunrise was better, it was helped that my climbing legs were working and I could hold the wheels and even put in a turn on the front!
