Anyone have any experience of these jackets. How good are that at blocking the wind and the cold?

Very good. It's showerproof too but wets out quickly in anything more than brief showers.
I washed mine in Tech Wash and then sprayed it with that MucOff Fabric Protect stuff which made it considerably more water resistant. It's nice and light, folds up small into a jersey pocket.

It's pretty good, not massively rainproof but good for packing in your jersey and climbing MontiVonti then putting it on for the blast back down.
Probs used mine 5 times in 2 years.

Brilliant bit of kit, packs down very small, very breathable, but not very waterproof as above.

The zip broke on mine earlier this year after 3 years of constant use / abuse. Sent back to Rapha. they said it was a manufacturing fault and gave me vouchers to the original value of the jacket. Can slate them for many things, but they do give extremely good customer service!

I bought the female equivalent and sent it back! Ridiculously expensive for something thin (which I know is what you want from something packable) but you can get something from other decent brands Castelli, Sportful etc for over half the price and probably better quickly IMO.

I have a yellow one that I use for commuting most days, eBay purchase and had a couple of marks but does the job very well.

I have a light blue one – it's a lovely bit of kit but I can't bear the thought of taking out on dirty, muddy road rides... which defeats the object. I see it as an autumnal thin jacket that you wear on dry slightly cold rides etc.
