Anyone in?

Only just found out about it now, and went to bed at 5am this morning, so am already a day behind..
Got to plot some routes I think (and get my bike working).
No one?
A mate and I am going to try. Thankfully the weather this year should make completing it easier!!!
Go on then how are you getting on?
Only found out about it on the 23rd, too late to get a ride in. Was in bed ill on 24th, and despite feeling a bit crap today dragged myself out of bed and got 100km in. Still gonna have to average about 50 miles a day from now on though..
Got 110 in on the ride home for Xmas (with a backpack - ouch) and can double that for the return leg! Still got time to get the rest in though. Plans may hange due to excessive partying.
Two sessions of 25 km on the rollers done, 130 planned tomorrow and the the same again the day after, so I might just make it.
Dont think rollers count!!!
The guy who won it last year was in Scandinavia and his Festive 500 was a beautifully filmed account of his rides in the snow. To be honest you're going to have to come up with something special to beat that!
And rollers/turbo definitely don't count. As @MTFU_Training (Twitter feed, very funny) would say, get out there and MTFU!
Another 36 miles in, feeling really ill now. Big day tomorrow, hope I'm feeling better for it.
Roller miles sound dodgy.
Nah, Rapha can poke it up their bums.
Resting, eating, reading, tanking up the immune system and generally enjoying the break. Plus I'm back to work Wednesday so I ain't cramming a block in just to please Rapha.
I did a bit towards it today. Strangely, Joe (author of that article) was round at our house Christmas Eve and didn't mention a thing. Although he had ridden from London to Warwick earlier that day.
Knocked out another 50 miles on road today, despite feeling awful. Felt crap the entire way round actually, but there wasn't too much climbing or wind so made it back ok. Had a few hours rest and something to eat, then went out for a quick one on the mtb, did another 15 miles.
146 miles to go, 4 days to do it in. Very reasonable. Finally starting to feel better too.
