Sunday, September 28 at 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm (GDT)

GDT is an odd way of saying BST, so I'd say that it's at 2000-2330 on September the 28th!

I wonder how far they are going to get before it's called off due to the wind.

It think one of the reasons they switched sides was it was less prone to wind. Lets hope mamma nature got the memo.

As an aside, i wish Oakley would **** off with their wooden jumps. Takes the look off of it imo.

I'm interested to see how Rheeder does. He would have won Joyride if he hadn't crashed on his second run.

Nice. You could tell pretty early on that he was going too fast. Got away with it, though.

This is by far and away my favourite free ride event and should be the blueprint. These enlarged BMX tracks should be consigned to history.

Makes the amount of body armour you see on follow the dog look frankly ludicrous.

I actually find it really quite uncomfortable to watch - I was almost relieved last year when they call the second runs off. Having said that, I'm really looking forward to it!

Delayed.

UPDATE [Saturday, 3:45 p.m. MT]: Due to heavy rains and thunderstorms at the event site, the Red Bull Rampage schedule is changing to ensure the best conditions for competition. Most notably, the finals will be delayed and the event site will not be open to the public on 9/28/14. Tickets will still be honored for the Finals (revised schedule will be announced shortly). We appreciate your patience. The live stream will also be delayed. Date and time TBD.

Dude who flipped the 76ft canyon in qualifying had a full face on and a singlet vest and shorts...

Perhaps they should find an indoor venue for this, somewhere less weather-prone.

Nut just nuts, some of it is uncomfortable to watch and I'm just glad people are badly injured or worse. That's what makes it compulsive viewing I suppose, I'll be tuning in as usual.

Love how they're just slipping the word amplitude in at random, using it in a totally different context to that which they explained a few sentences ago 🙂

My wife walked in and saw a couple of runs. Her concise analysis, 'they are mad, they're riding off a cliff! Don't you even think about it'

I can say without doubt if you put me at the start gate I would be quivering wreck clinging to the most solid object I could find!

Late to the game, but that was a 'Polaris RZR hip' and 'Go Pro stepdown' in one breath.

Drink up everyone.

Seven to nine feet. I thought it looked at least fifteen but it must look bigger on TV

This needs Brett Tippie's hysterical laughter.

I dunno, a lot of these runs this year seem really short- they're so fast and vertical. Strait's run there just seemed to make more of the hill, Reeder's was similiar I think at the top. Strait's come on a long way since he left the family kneepad business and took up bicycling.

Bigger than the "polaris RZR Hip" & "Go Pro" stepdown so i'm led to believe.
