My garden overlooks countryside and I wondered if I could raise my shed /summerhouse by about 4ft (on stilts) so I could store stuff underneath and free up some room inside? almost a 2 storey shed!
Floor area would be a standard 10 x 8
Anyone done the same?

Cant remember exactly but if shed is within certain distance (2m?) from the boundary max height is 2.5m if it's more than that then you're allowed to go higher (4m?) I think.

Hmmm, What if the OP builds a "Shallow" double pitched roof, and elevates the shed, such that the top of that building is under 4m high?
