Bone dry trails here in Belfast for the past couple of weeks too. The odd shower has been most welcome or the dust would have been causing traction problems by now!!!

Is that near Staveley? If its the bit I'm thinking of it looks unusually dry.

You're right. Working at Kendal Hospital (for 12 months) and very dry here. Bit happier now the wind has dropped though!

We did a ride over to Winter Hill last night & were all amazed how dry the trails were.

It was like a summer's day ride - totally bizarre after the weekends downpoors.

April and May are usually the driest months here. Then it rains until September 🙁

I was up in the lakes Sunday and it was dry with no rain, drove home, which was only an hour away and it had been throwing down all day.

Were you one of the group coming down Belmont/San Marino as we were riding up it (just as it was starting to go dark)?

Quite a few riders up there last night and yes it was unbelievably dry considering the weakend's deluge.

Same for me, great ride near Ambleside, dry as a bone. Got to carnforth on the M6 and it was lashing it down.
