i am thinking of a getting a Ragley Piglet. Does anybody else own or have owned this bike that could give their opinion on them

Had mine for 18 months, love the bike though its the old style and I think the new ones have changed a fair bit.
It's not the lightest bike in the world, but then I did't expect it to be with my build. It has quite a slack geometry with a long top tube and feels most at home flying down single track. It climbs pretty well but is no whippet.
I use mine on some pretty tough terrain in north Wales and the Peaks and it's more than enough bike for me, even with the limited travel of my 120mm forks.
I run Deore/SLX/XT 3x9 with XT brakes, 120mm Reba, EN521 rims, Hope hubs, and a LEV seatpost with Spoon saddle. If you want more info let me know.
