I have a Marley and love it.

It has 140mm Revelations (supposedly 10mm over spec but who cares), KOM i25 rims and Bontrager XR4 Team Issue tyres. 1x11. The perfect bike for ragging it round the local trails.

Ragley Marley: nothing wrong with this bike bike

But your list: the Vitus Sentier 27.5 inch, 140 mm travel HT looks like real, real fun to me. The three bikes you propose - guess I would pick this. The combination of fat tires, long travel fork, long and slack ... playful, neat bike!

I'am interested in the Ragley Mmmbop. This will be available again from summer 2018. Means I have to wait. And then I add a 160 mm fork to it...

Whatever you do (I'd go with one of the Vitus options) join British cycling for about 20 quid and get 10% off at CRC.

Whatever you go for, they're a lot of bike for the money!

Deffo use the 10% BC discount, that'll let you get the next model up for £900, leaves £100 for a dropper post.

Of course if you can get the budget up another £170 the VRS model comes with a Brand-X dropper, 140mm reba, full SLX and slightly better nukeproof horizon finishing kit for £1170 after the discount.

I honestly don't think there's a better value HT out there around the £1000 mark.

Ta11pau1 bike proposal - if you get this bike for 1170 :

Yes - if the budget is available: this bike is great!
RockShox 140 fork and SLX 1-11 with 46 sprocket for the steep uphill stuff:

Perfect hard tail!
Excellent proposal!
