I feel like this group is a wonderful self-help community for the terminally-bad-at-building-bikes. (i.e. me)

I'm installing the dropper post for my Big Al frame, and wondering how the cable is supposed to be routed. (There doesn't appear to be any manual or specific advice that I can find online). I have already installed the BB and cranks for info.

Should the cable go internally all the way from the down tube near the bars to the dropper, or should it pop out and back in again through the two holes near the BB (pictured below) thus avoiding the BB?

Thank you wise community!

Fab, thank you. Seems a bit odd, but not done before so worth checking!

I think the bend if you stayed internal.would be very tight, agree it's slightly odd but it works.

Don't forget to thread through the caps before you go back in.
