Anyone had any luck mounting a low rider rack to a specialised diverge carbon fork?
If so, please divulge the rack model and any special retro fitting / experience doing so.
Thanks
Those look great flap jack. Are they screwed into the fork?
I'm working on a similar ideal for a carbon Focus I want to use for touring in the summer. I've got loads of racks so don't want to replace them and making adaptors that sit on the tubes/forks like Race Blades use attached with similar bands is the way I'm approaching it. Worried about them slipping under the weight of the panniers so looking at a seat post clamp and extension to the fork crown brake bolt to help stabilise things.
Interested in other solutions - I have a tame engineer/machinist (occasionally).
Thats a brave man who drills into his carbon fork. Looks a great set up though.
^The fixings are already there.
A Tubus Tara is supposed to fit, but I haven't got one yet.
Just go say ^ Tubus Tara is a brilliant rack.
Binno, or indeed anyone, if you do find out of a lowrider rack that clamps onto a carbon fork (that has no holes/eyelets) then please let me know as I am in need of one very soon.
Thanks.
Edit, I'm keeping the carbon fork on this (cx) bike, not putting a steel/alloy one on for touring.
Cheers.
Just saw that Evans sell Tubus fitting kits for £13.50 but not sure if they fit non-round forks (sorry, can't do links on phone).
Edit, Evans and Rose sell other mounting kits that might work on forks up to 40mm.
Anyone tried the Tara Rack out yet?

Tubus Tara (current model with 14mm main rail) fits the Diverge carbon fork perfectly. Gives you 8 inches of ground clearance from the base of the rack. I'm currently looking for suitable panniers to fit, ideally roll tops and maybe something nicer than the ortlieb options, if anyone has any recommendations?
