My father wants a rack to fit on his Cube SL Road hybrid for touring duties.
It's a 700c wheel and the disc brake caliper is mounted between chainstay and seatstay with the rack boss at top of dropout well clear of brake so no issues with disc brake clearence.
Not sure which rack to buy though as the dropouts have a very chunky design that means the width between mounting points is about 175mm. Trying another rack on it the legs of that rack have a width of about 150mm and not much flex to make it wider.
Can anyone suggest a wide-legged rack?!
I just bought a Blackburn local deluxe rack from Merlin, adjustable width and fits my caadx with similar dimensions easily.
