I was taking my d/s crank arm off today with the 8mm hex as normal, however when the last few threads before the crank came off the 16mm end cap started to unscrew too
No problem i thought, but it is, where on earth do i get a 16mm allen key from? I could only do it up finger tight when i put it back together, so not the 20nm it reuqires, there was no play when all fitted back up, but its only finger tight so id like to sort it properly
Use 2 8mm ones 🙂
Got a 1/2 drive socket 16mm hex from eBay the other week , was about £6-7 delivered

Many thanks, guys. Just what I was looking for.
I ended up using a 14mm box spanner that I'd just bought to tighten a tap, turns out it''s outer width is 15.94mm and so worked a treat.
