Hi Chaps,
I've got a 2019 Aeffect Dropper, and I can't find the air valve. I'd expect it under the saddle, but it looks like a nylock nut, rather than a valve. Which looks suspiciously like it's a footnut.
Anyone topped up the air in theirs?
Cheers
Ricks
Ok probably talking out of my rear here but I thought someone on here said there is no valve on the RF?
That said, hopefully I'm wrong!
Pretty sure they are under the clamp assembly as i've had to top a few up in the past. If you check on the side, I think you'll find a recommended max psi setting as confirmation.
Schrader valve under the clamp, covered by a rubber/plastic cap. The Turbine version needs a 10mm socket to remove IIRC, haven't tried with my Aeffect.

Certainly the case on my 2018
Mine doesn't have the rubber cap and Schrader valve, it's what appears to be a nylock nut. It's very odd! I've seen the videos and photos of the pre-2019 and it looks different to mine.
I'd be surprised if the valve wasn't underneath it. All these posts need some way of pressurising and depressurising.
Well, Raceface support replied to my email. They said I'd better send it to them for a service.
I've had it a month.
All I want to do is top up the air!
Ricks, Did you send it in? Did it help with return speed? I’ve got the same post and it’s slow.
