Trek seem to be the first team to announce changes for 2025, and Neff and Vergier have gone. Looks like they're 'pausing' their Enduro team next year as well. I predict they won't be the last.
Reece Wilson and Bodhi Kuhn leaving as well
Looks like they’re ‘pausing’ their Enduro team
I do wonder if many teams will race Enduro this year...
It seemed pretty obvious that Neff would be departing when Trek released the end of season film a few weeks back and she wasn’t mentioned in it. In fact, I think the only time she was in it was a quick glance of her warming up at one race.
Hattie Harnden gone from Trek too. Victim of the Enduro pause presumably.
Vergier is rumoured to be off to commencal muck off. FMD are switching to Orbea and adding Martin maes to the team. It’s that time of year when it’s ll the leaving news before the new contracts kick in January and we get all the announcements as to where people are for the new season

Has Ronan Dunne just let something slip?

That looks like Charlie Hatton......
Wow. Ronan, Dak & Charlie would be a hell of a line-up.
As would Amaury, Myriam & Loris obvs.
I guess we'll see more "super teams" like this with the rule changes meaning fewer teams overall.
Hope that Hattie has landed somewhere safely, she doesn't get the credit or profile she deserves as currently the UK's most successful MTBer.
Has Ronan Dunne just let something slip?
I always did wonder about excessive consumption of energy drinks and bowel movements...
I do wonder if many teams will race Enduro this year…
I'm guessing that a good few teams, specifically those that have spent a lot of time and money developing enduro bikes with upwards of 160mm of travel, will be pretty p****d off at the recent rule changes. Racing is a way of promoting a brands bikes in the hope of increasing sales and to exclude major brands flagship models from being used to do what they were designed for is a major own goal from the uci
Except the UCI doesn't care about volume of bikes sold, they are purely interested in racing and making the racing as standard as possible so it is down to the rider on the day...
The fact the companies marketing departments keep pushing all new and all changing stuff to encourage people to buy makes not a blind bit of difference for the UCI.
They'll have looked at this as a means of making sure it is the rider that makes the difference and not some perceived (or actual) mechanical advantage.
With that kind of thinking, a number of rule changes make a bit more sense...whether it is right or wrong/good or bad doesn't seem to make any difference to the UCI.
