I'm after some lighter weight knee pads for more pedally local rides. Like the look of both the Race Face and the Fox pads. I think the Fox pads just edge it but would appreciate some recommendations.
Ta.
Hi wallop, I use the fox enduros. I call them pedal pads, they don't offer a huge amount of protection but they are really comfy. I like mine. Not seen/used the race face ones though.
Nice one - that's a good recommendation, thanks! Any tips on sizing?
Another option to consider are the TLD shock doctors. Very light, no straps and offer a shin option too.
I had them for DH, as i've branched out into more trail these are still effective with no discomfort.
I think our sizing is going to very different mate!
I can recommend the IXS flow knee pad, good for all round. I tried the Fox Launch, was a bit bulky for pedalling.
Not experienced the knee pads but I had 2 sets of Indy elbow pads and they were utter sh1t,the d30 padding broke up on both sets,AVOID!!!
Thanks everyone - lots of things to consider.
