Recently bought a set of these discounted from CRC. Arrived with a press fit bottom bracket, does anyone know if they are fine to use with a threaded B.B? The non drive side crank arm has a seal/spacer which would make it sit out from the B.B.

It has the same length 24mm spindle as previous Race Face/ Shinano cranks.

Advertised as non boost- 9/10/11 speed.

Bought to fit on a 2017 Nukeproof Mega 290- non boost

Item has now disappeared from Chain Reaction

I run AEffects on both my fat bike and FS. The fat bike is a threaded BB into an EBB (if that makes sense), they are standard HT2 BB cups. The FS is pressfit but I've a Hope PF-HT2 converter BB in it so effectively it's a threaded BB.

Fit it and see - make sure you've a crank puller to get it off!

Normal Aeffect setup on a normal threaded BB is:

Driveside crank - Black ali spacer with 2x 1mm plastic spacers fitted, (thin lip faces the BB) - Bottom bracket - 4x 1mm plastic spacers - Non-driveside crank

To fine tune BB bearing pre-load, add or remove spaces to the 4x stack on the non-driveside.

To fine tune chainline, move spacers from 4x stack and add to the black ali spacer.

The fitting manual in on the RF site and is decent. There are simple to fit though once you have the correct order if parts.
