Hi all

Thinking about purchasing a new XTR groupset and R2-bike looks like best price with availability

But looked at some of the online reviews and looks like shoddy customer experience

Any one bought anything and how was it?

Ta
Woody

Fine for me, though I only ordered a bearing, and it came in a shoebox...

Never had issues but I've never dealt with returns or anything

I had to return an XT 4 pot brake as they sent a front brake in a back brake box (suspect the fault was not theirs as it was all packaged up but mis labelled). I sent them photos, return was free and simple, and the replacement was on the way before the return got to them. I've used them for a couple of big orders and would check there first if I was ordering anything major.

Ordered lots from them, zero issues, fast delivery, free bottles/facemasks, some haribo.

My only customer service interaction was a recent order that hadn't shipped, I emailed them to ask if I could add a tyre onto the order, was sorted easily with a paypal invoice. They took about a day and a half to respond though, they were busier than normal with COVID and that at the time.

Ordered a Pike Select fork from them a few weeks back and no issues. Would use them again.

So a left lever came in a right lever box, or vice versa, or did you forget that front and rear brakes are the other way round on the continent?

Buying from them super easy and products turn up sharpish. Where it really matters is any follow up warranty and for once I can comment! Bought my Pike Ultimates from them and needed to return under warranty, didn't want to pay anyone in this country for the luxury. Free returns so didn't cost me a penny, SRAM germany and the shop turned them around in 3 weeks and their customer service was excellent through despite my emails saying 'are they done yet' constantly. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again and just have with some nice SRAM descendent cranks.

Ordered from them at the beginning of the month, took less than a week to arrive but I didn't get any Haribo so now I'm pissed off. 😀

I ordered a F+R set plus a bleed kit as I knew I'd need to swap them over, but got 2 left (front) brake levers with short hoses, even though the two boxes I received were labelled differently.

Ordered a Lyrik RC2 from them 1,5 years ago. Double checked stocks, etc right before placing the order because I know how these things go. Place the order and nothing from them for a couple of days. Finally I enquiry about the order status, just to be informed that the forks are on backorder, while insisting that they were signaled as that when I ordered. No apologies, just accusing me of messing up. The waiting time would be just a week or so, but because I dislike being called stupid I canceled everything right away.

Some time has passed, so if I see some mind blowing bargain on their website I might risk it again, but won't go down that road easily

R2 is always my first choice. Luckily they stock nearly everything I use so don’t often need to go elsewhere.

Don’t forget to put the promo code in to get 3% off.

I ordered a pair of Lyrik ultimates last the other week.... Turned up within 3 days.... And was £250 cheaper than anywhere else. They get my vote.
