We've got a cheapy turbo trainer that both me and the missus want to use of an evening but its very noisy. it uses a pair of centrifugal fans to generate a bit of resistance and I can't find a way to damp the noise down enough... needs to be quieter to prevent waking our neigbours and our kids....
Anyone got any ingenious suggestions?
IME a proper turbo trainer tyre makes a huge difference.
Maybe but its the turbo trainer itself rather than the tyre on the roller thats making all the noise....
