Fleece gilets for £9.99. Hiking section
Brilliant things, very useful.
Wear one most days.

Softshell jackets from the Sailing section - the one with the hood for £24.99 has been superb for winter walking. Great kit for the price, bit short for cycling though.

The big, thick fleeces from the hunting section for £12.00.
Stupidly good value if you need something for less strenuous activities.

The £24.99 green or blue waterproof jackets in the hiking section are great everyday dog walking/knocking about jackets.

Very impressed with all of the above.

They also do neoprene diving gloves in 2mm, 3mm and 5mm. 2mm ideal liners, 5mm a bit chunky!

Snowshoes are cheap enough to have a pair for the odd time you might want them, which isn't often, even up here.
But one day (soon) the snowpocalypse will come again and you'll be ready.

🙁

Town too busy with traffic - car park overloaded, didn't even get in

Just have to hope the Viking zombies wait a bit before the onslaught

Their tyre levers are excellent.
And they sell those tool storage things that fit in your water bottle holders.
