Off into town just now & will have about 15 min to kill
What's ded good in there ?
(cheap bits, not whole bikes or anything)
A canoe + associated gear
A full archery set
A Basketball hoop and ball
A fishing rod and tackle
A football goal for the garden
,etc.
Fleece gilets for £9.99. Hiking section
Brilliant things, very useful.
Wear one most days.
Softshell jackets from the Sailing section - the one with the hood for £24.99 has been superb for winter walking. Great kit for the price, bit short for cycling though.
The big, thick fleeces from the hunting section for £12.00.
Stupidly good value if you need something for less strenuous activities.
The £24.99 green or blue waterproof jackets in the hiking section are great everyday dog walking/knocking about jackets.
Very impressed with all of the above.
cheers for the pointers
are there any circumstances (other than zombie apocalypses) where I can combine canoe & archery set ?
Viking invasion
ah, cool - the wife gets cross if I buy useless shit but that'll swing it
Cycling gloves. Cheap and durable.
+ Viking invasion paraphernalia as above

Neoprene cycling gloves, go a couple of sizes up and a thin liner below.
Power links. Decathlon own brand are repackaged KMC and cost about £3 for 2 sets.
SIS gels are always good value at Decathlon.
+1 powerlinks.
Get me some 9 spd pls.
They also do neoprene diving gloves in 2mm, 3mm and 5mm. 2mm ideal liners, 5mm a bit chunky!

Buy nothing. Test it out. See how it feels.
Snowshoes are cheap enough to have a pair for the odd time you might want them, which isn't often, even up here.
But one day (soon) the snowpocalypse will come again and you'll be ready.
Powerlinks and enduro style mudguards
🙁
Town too busy with traffic - car park overloaded, didn't even get in
Just have to hope the Viking zombies wait a bit before the onslaught
Their tyre levers are excellent.
And they sell those tool storage things that fit in your water bottle holders.
