Is a rs monarch debonair the same size air can in diameter as a fox ctd ? Odd I know but it's a tight frame and I want to change my rear shock. Thanks.

I doubt many ppl have ever measured there shocks can, but if you measure yours (& tell us which you have!) & lets us know maybe some helpful soul will measure theirs for you.
What frame has such tight clearances?

It's a carbon gt sensor and the shock slides into a tunnel created by the seat tube . My fox ctd is roughly 42mm . Thanks guys.

widest part of a Monarch plus debonair air can is 50mm. I have a brand new unused 200x57 M/M if you're interested.

Thanks onzadog. My frame is 50mm at its widest part. I'm not sure it would fit even though it's the shock I prefer.is that 50mm at the shaft end of the can or the eyelet end? As it's only about 40mm of the can that inserts into the frame. Thanks.

That's the top end of the can, it's a couple of mm narrower further down but I don't know what size shock you'd need so it's difficult to gauge.
