I'm looking for a new saddle for my wife and wondered if there were any recommendations for a comfy one?

She currently suffers pain when cycling due to a tear (verb) during the birth of our 2nd child 4 years ago.

You will get 101 different answers to that question! For me, I find that a minimalist saddle works together with minimalist padded shorts. Many shorts have a huge amount of padding which in itself can cause chafing so combine that with the wrong saddle and it can be painful!

Have this on all my bikes, in black though:

Sorry, just another thought ... newer saddles seem to have h u g e cutouts so that may be a consideration.

My Selle Italia actually flexes, it's leather too so seems less harsh.
