If you drop your saddle and take your front wheel off, can you get your mountain bike upright in the back?
Nope, though I might try again tomorrow
Owner height & wheel size would make a big difference.
XL 29"er Cannondale is quite a lot of bike you know
No idea, although as I said on another thread I have had a washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave oven, electric fire, petrol strimmer & 5 bin bags of assorted rubbish in mine all at once. With some re-arranging I reckon I could've had another washing machine in as well.
HTH.
Not really........

This large trance was almost impossible to get to fit. Done a bit of damage to the roof lining.
If you have an internal routed dropper then there is no chance.
You can on a MK3 if you put the bike in on its side initially and fit the forks down into the rear seats foot well - you can't have the passenger seat all the way back but it doesn't need too much room. Bit of a faff so I only bother if I need the extra load space.
Not sure if the same apples for a MK4 but looking at Renton's pictures it doesn't look beyond the realms of possibility.
Not if you drop it but you can if you take the seat post out. You basically need to invert it so its resting on the wheel rather than the seat/tube. It's the only bad thing about remote droppers. You need the s max to do what you're asking.
I did manage to get my large Banshee Spitfire stood up in the boot with both wheels off though (reverb compressed).
Cheers folks. Looks like it's flat with a duvet between two then.
On a similar note, how many bikes (29er hardtails or CX bikes) can you fit in the boot space (rear seats up) with wheels off and seatposts out if necessary?
Do they fit neatly either lengthways or sideways?
I can see fork/handlebar height might be a problem.
I haven't tried numbers, but mine fits sideways wheels off, seatpost on without any problem. I'd suspect you could fit at least 4 that way. Have also fitted one in with wheels on, back wheel hanging over back seat with kiddies in seats. Only a short travel 26" wheel bike though!
Mine wouldn't fit across the boot, went in on the diagonal so I guess would depend on what frame/fork combo you have.

I can get two sets of rollers and three track bikes in mine (front wheels out) if they go in sideways, that is with all of the back seats still in the upright position.
Four road/cx bikes (with both wheels off) in the boot with back seats still up.
