Hi I have a new DT EX471 wheel set currently being built. I sold my last. Wheels as a part of a wheel set and included my old sram rotors as they were worn and warped.
Ive never upgraded wheels or bought new rotors so I have a couple questions.
Do you know if a 208mm shimano disc rotor will fit my 2016 orange five running SLX Brakes? I am a heavy rider and want a 208mm up front. Anything I should do to make fit it properly?
Second thing, how do I know if a disc rotor will actually fit with my particular wheel. For example I want to go with shimano rotor's and they have a 6 bolt design. Is this a universal thing or is wheel Pacific.
Thanks
6 bolt is standard and 203mm is standard.
never heard of 208mm
assuming your forks and brakes are I.S mount this is the adaptor you will need.
or is wheel Pacific
I can only speak for the North Atlantic, sorry.

What was the point in even commenting. Did you get your single track profile points?
sorry I meant a 208 mm rotor
Depends on what size rotor your forks take without an adapter - could be 160 or 180, which will alter which adapter you need to buy.
203 not 208, obviously.

Apparently so

Thanks mate very helpful.
In general a 6 bolt rotor will fit any 6 bolt hub. The same for centrelock.
You may need to adjust the alignment of the caliper afterwards as there are usually small differences in hub widths which means the disc may be further in or out in relation to the caliper.
