Are all frames with a 68mm bb and 135mm rear spacing set up for a 50mm chainline.
Have a new frame with 68mm and 135mm but want to run Middleburn Incy spider which is designed for a 42 mm chainline (fine for 130mm rear spacing on my old frame with 113mm bb axle) - would I be able to get it to work - shorter bb axle 107 mm?

Why would a shorter axle widen the chainline?
