Just watched BKXC's latest videos and the riding looks awesome, a possible alternative to Whistler for me to try somewhere different in Canada next time. Has anyone been and can confirm if its awesome or not? Lot of variety and options around Whistler so I'm wondering if the same is true of the Quebec area or if its perhaps too early for that to be setup yet.
The people who run Whistler also run Mont Tremblant in Quebec, so the facilities are comparable. But I would go into the Eastern Townships for riding.
Mont Bromont, which I have snowboarded but not ridden, is fantastic, but the whole region is stunning.
Owl’s Head is brilliant, and you could easily spend days and weeks exploring.
Feel free to ask specifics.
Tremblant was good but hard old
school XC. No gondola access for bikes even though the gondola was running for walkers.
Didn’t get to Bromont but family said it was good. MSA always looks good.
Yeah bkxc did bromont and loved it. Not bothered about gondola just want quality riding trails really and don’t mind moving a little as would prob hire a car. Maybe cheaper than whistler area again
BKXC or BCPOV?
Eric (BCPOV) posted a video last week about Quebec...a huge long granite slab line. Looked fun!
Bkxc has posted three and Bcpov has since been but I find his voice to monotone so I don’t watch his.
Blimey, that was unexpected - certainly increases Canada as a neat place to ride without flying out to BC!
