You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Driving my daughter to Plymouth this Saturday and thinking of stopping on the way home for a ride in the quantocks. Not after a full day out - more park up and ride some dh trails eg forestry car park with a few easy accessible trails to ride for a couple of hours. Anything like that in the area that doesn’t need GPX maps etc. Anyone have any recommendations / suggestions please? Cheers
Gawton. 20mins north of Plymouth?
Take some Joy Division oven gloves with you?
Triscombe stone car park and that gives you access to all the DH trails. If you want something more pedally, start at Lydeard Hill car park and pedal up and past Wills Neck down triscombe, you can then venture into great woods and there’s some brilliant trails in there! If you’ve got Trailforks that will be a brilliant tool.

You lost me there.
Gawton is good shout cheers. Thanks marsbarman - will prob give Tris Combe a go
Cann/Spanish as well just on the outskirts of Plymouth. Not as weatherproof as gawton though.
Check the FB page, there have been some closures.
To the south of Adscombe in the Quantocks there are some decent enduro-y trails. There's a nice cafe at Adscombe farm too, if it's open. I can't remember precisely where they were but around grid ref ST1809 3721 I think
marsbarman has it.
Adscombe farm cafe you say- I'll have to check it out sometime soon.
Foxy Bean cafe. Does a cracking flat white 👌
Ta for that.
