Anyone got some good routes round the Quantock's they can share. I fancy a ride round there this week but dont know the area well enough to find the good bits.
Couple of Q rides I've done recently that cover some of the good bits...

Bincombe on the 2nd ride is especially worth doing 😉

Do I have to follow you first to get that option?
Ah, maybe.
Here's a link to the 2 GPX files:

Cheers for those routes.
Thanks!
What sort of riding are you after? There is great variation on the Quantocks, especially for such a small space.
The routes above are really good ones, but mostly concentrate on the manmade enduro type stuff in the woods rather than the natural trails (with all the views) on the northern end of the hills.
Just sent you a message
If you haven't been there before, beware! You will be going up or down, there is very little flat riding. Its is only about 10km north to south and 5km east to west, which doesn't sound much but going a short distance, as the Crow flies, can involve some serious climbing. Last time I was there in November we parked above West Bagborough and rode along the ridge to Bicknoller Post where there are several very good descents. With daylight at a premium we ignored the Great Wood area and did 3 descents, Lady's Edge/Hodders Combe, Smithy's Combe and Weacombe Hill all of which required a climb back up to the post. These can all be done in loops forming a clover leaf pattern with Bicknoller Post at the centre. We then returned along the ridgeway to the car park. The ride was 24 miles, just shy of 3000ft of ascent and took us 4.5 hours (this includes stops for food/drink and to take in the stunning views). The trails are well sign posted as I remember, but do take a map and I seem to remember dodgy phone signals at the bottom of the various combes. If you do get lost there are usually plenty of MTB'ers and walkers around to help find your way. I was riding with a mate who does DofE award assessments there so knows it extremely well.
