Looking for some decent quality mitts for longer road rides/touring.

Have been using Specialized bg gel mitts for years. They're OK but wear out pretty fast and the stitching isn't great. Would like something harder wearing and a well padded palm. Possibly leather?

Any recommendations?

I like my Gore ones. but I can't see them lasting a second summer.
I have some endura humvee mits that are just disintegrating after 4 years hard service.

Prendas gloves are ace - not a clue about leather, you can't put them in the wash with all the other stuff so its a no from me on those

Assos ones are simple, well made and robust.
I don't particularly like the look of mine but they work so well I still wear them.
Top tip - don't machine wash your gloves too much.

My Pearl Izumi ones are great (can't remember exact 'model') & have lasted a few years now.

Planet X mitts are cheap and seem quite hard wearing. They last longer than some of the Endura gloves I had anyway. They have a few different styles, some more padded.

I was about to recommend Specialized BG gel mitts, was given a new pair for my birthday and they are excellent; you don't even know you're wearing them.

Planet X Ulner or GripGrab progel/supergel (more spendy though)

Altura classic s.

String backed so you end up looking AMAZING.

And you get a super cool tan mark that screams pro.
