Quadlock mount with Apple MagSafe?

I'd like to use my phone on my bike to use mostly for navigation, so I'm looking at how to mount it. Quadlock seems to be the most secure option, but does it work with Apple MagSafe? It says it does on the website, but does anyone have real world experience? Being a loyal Apple fanboi I have quite a few MagSafe accessories including 3rd party ones (Anker car mount, Journey 3-in-1 charger) and I wonder if they will work.

Alternatively, how much of a pain in the testicular region is it to put the case on just for rides and take it off when I get home?

Thanks for any insights - or alternative solutions!

I have a quadlock case for my iphone for when I use a joby tripod or when travelling in my fellas car for car mount. I refuse to have a case on my iphone for the rest of the time so I put it on n off when needed. It's easy peasy to get on n off but yet still very secure when it's on. I find the nack is holding the edge of the case while pushing from the back where the camera lenses are, that gets one corner off and then the rest pops off easy.

Just be aware it might effect the phone! I've seen a few complaints that it knackers the camera strapping the phone to the bars. I don't think the optical image stabilisation in the lenses likes the vibrations.

I had wondered about that but Quadlock themselves say that's only applicable to motorbikes. Tempting to have a dampener though 'just in case'

https://support.quadlockcase.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002024795-Vibration-Dampener-FAQ

What about my Bicycle? Do I need a vibration dampener?

We have designed our Vibration Dampener to be used specifically with motorcycle mounts to reduce the levels of high frequency vibrations that can affect the image stabilisation on new smartphones. Currently this is only a known issue with some motorcycles, not bicycles.

It does however share the same connecting feature as the Out Front Mount Pro and can be attached to this bike mount if desired for your bicycle.

The Vibration Dampener is not compatible with the standard Out Front Mount or bike Handlebar/Stem Mount.

one question - I'm sure I've seen 25% discount offers on Quadlocks but not sure where - could it be a black friday thing?

Their website has a seemingly permanent 10% discount on the homepage.

they do a new range that is slimmer and they state is compatible with magsafe.

I have one for my 14, its nice. don't have any apple magsafe accessories so can't confirm it is compatible.

Thanks all - I just ordered the new slimmer mag one, so I'll see if it actually works with my other kit. If not, I'll just use it on rides!

Good news. I could do with the car charger but I think I’ll wait until the Black Friday sale now.
