You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Visit England/Visit County Durham are spending c £600k on an advertising campaign urging people to cycle/mountain bike/walk in County Durham. Does this seem reasonable to you when:
1) The bridleway network in the Durham Dales is sparse and cannot be legally linked up?
2) The budget for building and maintaining XC trails at Hamsterley Forest this year is about £10k? (Forestry Commission claims to be one of the partners in this promotion).
???
in all walks of life these days you need customers before you can invest in something to sell them
back to the Google Pixel argument.
Build trails and people will find them, build a nice cycle path and a signed touring route and most people will probably never find it.
Do they have a website/facebook that you can comment/feedback to?
Asking what they will be promoting (they must reckon they have something worth promoting)
Putting the cart before the horse?
Or jumping on the bandwagon perhaps...
