It looks like this Do I need a special rim strip or can I use as it is? If it needs a strip ,is there something I can improvise with from homebase?

Looks like you have the TLR rimstrip in there, need to remove and put normal rim tape (or any alternative tape) in there.

Good thing I've found about Bontrager stuff, is there's always instruction docs on the web.

This maybe help?

I now want to go tubeless so shall be refitting the strips.

Can I safely run a tube on these strips if I get a puncture that overwhelms the sealant?

I found with those that it ends up insanely tight, more so if you use Bontrager tyres as well - good luck fitting an inner tube trailside.

I ended up removing it and just using gorilla tape, which was fine.
