These tyres come in two widths - 2.1 and 2.3
My current tyres are 2.2 Conti's
Do the Purg's come up quite wide or is their size bang on?? I'd rather get the widest possible you see but not sure if they will fit!
Your 2.2 Contis could measure anywhere from under 2" to 2.25" - their sizing is very inconsistent. And when tyres come up big it normally means they're close to correct as most tyres are well undersized! So which Continentals are they? The old Purgatory 2.2 measured 2.2" but the new 2.3 aren't any bigger.
Cheers - Ive measured my conti's - the basic Mountain Kings BTW - and they are around 2.25" . Looking at the clearance there would be plenty of room for a 2.3" as the gap is roughly 2.5"
