Rode my first one at yesterday. Bloody brilliant fun and a great way to get fit and pic up some decent skills at the same time.

Pump track Click to make big.

Anyone else had a go?

Few more pics

Skills... yes, but how does it get you fit!? Wouldn't riding over normal terrain actually be more beneficial!?

Try riding three laps and see how tired you feel.

I rode glentress red from the meteorite down chainless a few weeks ago, used the whole thing as a gigantic pump track. Amazing how much speed you can get, I had to push a couple of times but when you look back and see how far uphill you've just got it's almost shocking. I never really bothered to pump much before, never had any idea what I was missing out on. I'd love a play on a proper one just to work on the technique. I was aching all over when I got to the bottom, all those muscles you don't usually use.

Hey Andy. You did me a photomontage of ours (SingletrAction / Stainburn) years ago.

Not been up for a while but it's been a continual tweak-fest to improve and develop. Some photos in this thread .....

Hey, yeah I remember.

That track looks like it's bedded in really well. Looks like great fun.

Here's a little vid of it too
