I have a Race Rocket MT and can see brackets online - however, I don't think it will clear the huge downtube on my eeb.

Any solutions for such scenarios?

Trying to get tools off my person (back/hip packs) and onto the bike for short rides

You can rotate them in the bolt holes. Should accommodate the down tube.

Not sure how you mean? This is the Topeak bracket

I just put them on the non-drive side of the seat tube.  Not had a problem with cranks/calves clearing the pump or have you got some limitation with suspension going on and only having the downtube?

Aha, found the alternative solution, I knew I had seen something like it.

My downtube is 3-4" wide - the tab holes on the bracket simply (probably) won't reach the bosses *edit - misread your post. No bosses on the seat tube, albeit I could use some add on's. Everything gets crappy on the ST though

Ooh, that'll probably do it. Nice one 🙂

Ah mine have. A curve in the opposite plane so for on almost any tube surface. They slide out to accommodate bigger tubes.
