Want a good couple of days riding to celebrate a mates birthday. Would like to do a "soft" bivi ride, carry all the bivi kit but stop in a pub garden

Would like a good size ride ending at a pub that allows camping (like the Stickle Barn used to do) then ride back out the next day

Dont mind where it is but Lakes would be good so long as the riding is good, any ideas?

Well, not sure you'd call them gardens but ........

The Lion used to allow camping

Then there's always the highest pub in the UK at Tan Hill

There is the Fish Inn in Buttermere, there used to be a campsite over the road from there. Also the small campsite at Wasdale Head is right near the pub.

There is also the Castle Inn in Pengenffordd, near Crickhowell in S wales.

The plume of feathers in Princeton (middle of dartmoor) is a nice pub and has camping in the back (with nice facilities) riding is good on the moor too.

Camp in Hawkshead in the campsite across from the village. A number of pubs there, and they do breakfasts as well.

Means you can do a North Face Trail/Parkamoor/ all that stuff on the east side of Coniston and/or a Walna Scar loop either before or after camping.

A bit north of the lakes, but the Crask Inn is a pretty good location in my book. Any direction offers "good sized" rides.

Another vote here for Plume of Feathers in Princetown. Good rides out the back door up onto Dartmoor, and pub does excellent food and beer.
