It's "Standard" as opposed to "Power" or "Control"

Yep they all come with the standard lever. Took my single speed with new Evo X2’s last night for its first ride with them on. After a decade of putting up with XT’s with the wonderfully irritating wandering bite point, these are night and day better. More than enough power for the bike they’re on, nice build up of power and very comfortable lever. I may swap out for the control lever to try them as got small hands but still very impressed.

good brakes from what I hear, but they don’t come with clamps, so you’ll need to factor that in. I bought some to replace some knackered (but much better than many suggest) level t’s so should be a good upgrade

Shame the new blade apparently won't fit the older Tech 4, I'd be in

I'm not certain they don't - I'll try swapping the GR4 blades with my T4V4 at some point in the next day or 2

Confirmed...

T4 Evo blades fit the T4 master cylinder.

The cam is totally different, as it's a new design.  The Evo standard blade on the normal  T4 MC sits a lot closer to the bar.

I'll start a new thread on it later with pics

Little random but https://tea-ink.com/collections/cupcake-birthday (this is my favourite range) are having a sale of their cards, spend over a £10 and there cards are only £1 instead of £2 (admittedly a £4 delivery).

I find them very funny, but maybe I'm alone.. https://tea-ink.com/products/perfect-stick?_pos=1&_sid=d40ec50d2&_ss=r

Pearl Izumi have various stuff at 50% off including my current favourite Summit baggies (simple, forget you’re wearing them, trail pockets that hang to the side of thigh and are actually comfortable to ride with stuff in)

https://pearlizumi.eu/en-gb/collections/all-mens-mtb-shorts

Outlet doesn’t show all the discounted MTB stuff for some reason - need to look under MTB.  -

Anyone seen any deals for non-boost 29inch rear wheels knocking about? Something like Hope that can be converted to QR. Or have a wheel they'd like to sell me.

I don’t know what era they are but they seem to have Jean style pockets at the front and a useless patch pocket on the rear. The ones I have from a few years back and on the PI site have what they describe as “trail access” pockets (which are one of the best things about them).

But what’s the difference, apart from £50, to these GRX RX810s?

50% off rotors and brake pads at superstar components. Use code HERO

They have a 2.3mm thick rotor that I've taken a punt on for the ebike for £12.50 each after using the code.

Amazingly for PX, they have all sizes available too.

Dare2B walking trousers for £28 (grey and blue only):

https://www.dare2b.com/mens-tuned-in-ii-multi-pocket-walking-trousers-orion-grey/

I've had them for a couple of years now and they're great on the bike. Slim fit, stretchy, belt loops, decent pockets and you can wear padded undershorts with them.

I've actually just ordered another pair in black, although they're more expensive. There is a code for a further 25% off though if you sign up to their free membership (BDAY25).

Free shipping as member too.

Yeah I suppose we are heading into traditional sale season, if that still means anything these days.

I ended up going secondhand when I changed my enduro sled this year, and I was lucky to grab an Orbea Rallon which had only been ridden a handful of times for very cheap.

Yea, we have a 130mm one. It's exactly the same post as the trans-x that came on our Trek Roscoe, but this one says "lapierre" on it. No complaints so far.

It's a bonkers good deal and this generation of SRAM brakes are lightyear ahead of what they were just a year or so back.

Note : they state they have the Stealth levers but that is not what's pictured, and I suspect you wont get stealth lever bodies.

The RM YT/SDG post is deffo V1, which is fine as very reliable and proven. Mine is going strong and at £80 is amazing value and you can clear £20 out of the lever if you don't need it (it's s a bit basic).

I'm sure there was a PSA on here a while back about cheap RockShox forks on Merlin. I was idly browsing for brake sets after my problem child MT7s had yet another issue yesterday, when I was distracted by a set of Pike 140 ultimates for - after my loyalty and quidco discounts - £417 posted.

I did nick my Pike selects yesterday and they need a proper service, so I convinced myself I was almost saving money #manmaths

No decals, but there's a £10 solution for that as I found replacing the set on the current forks.

^ sounds good Alex. They have been on my radar for a while too as my Pike Select+ need servicing too.

Are yours glossy or matt painted? And what colour are the (unexpected) decals? Can you please post a pic of what you got?

Merlin sometimes do a 10% off RS which I have been hoping for for a while now...

@nickfrog I'd say glossy. Grey decals. The are even the same offset (not that I really care) as the select+ they are replacing. Probably ask my riding bud to do a lower leg on the current select+ and they can go on the bikepacking HT. Which as some 7 or 8 year old pikes currently installed.

First ride on them last night @nickfrog - fairly sure it's the 3.1 damper in there. Felt very plush. Also they come with an "E-MTB ready" sticker which I've removed 🙂
