Bird Cycles have got EX1700 wheelsets for £350 with XD drivers. For another £50 they will fit a Microspline and also include the XD driver for later changes or selling on.

I don't think you can get anywhere remotely close to this price for an Enduro wheelset. EX511 rims and 350 hubs 36t ratched and comp spokes.

Also picked up some of the RF Turbine pedals from Tredz listed above although they have Giant Pinner Pro pedals for £50 (with £5 discount code). This is a crazy price for aluminium pedals of this quality. I just received two pairs and they look very well made (no surprise as it's Giant).

Lastly, Windwave have size small Transition Sentinel GX for £2,700 which feels like a good price for a bike of that type and with that spec (Fox Performance Elite suspension, full GX, Code RSC's and DT Swiss wheels).

I don't know if this has been posted before, but Banana Industries have Fuguzzi gravel frames & forks at heavily discounted prices (I assume that they're own brand).

The might make the foundation of a cheap build if anyone's interested. The frames in the pictures though don't appear to be painted, I'm not sure if that's how they come.

Few things left on Stif now - these are worth a purchase. I had a constantly deflating tyre and one of these sorted it. Full price is crazy, but at this price 👍  Reserve-filmore-valves

Plus Burgtec bars for £30

Best go in through the front door as some stuff doesn't show up under the categories https://www.stifmtb.com/

The sale bikes at Stif are discounted further if you click the link. The GT seems a steal at £1699, so much so I'm tempted myself!

Yes good value, nearly bought the 5010 last night but changed my mind at the last second as perhaps a big long for my 6ft and couldn't be bothered swapping the bloody Reverb and switch to cabled gears...

On the Stiff thing - to say they were closing down this week, I had a great experience from Gavin (Shop manager), couldn't have been more helpful and bike arrived fantastically well packed and had clearly been given a going over before it got to me. Hope all the staff manage to find new jobs. Apart from my first super light, only bought bits of pieces from them over the years, but very sad to see them go.

£55 for the lupra in yellow- only size small

I've had one for three years. I got soaked through in it once in that time. The rest of the time it's held off some medium showers and breathed well. I'm very sweaty, but less so in this than my other goretex jackets.

Sorry, I've not been following this thread closely, so I'm unsure what's already been posted. I've noticed that Merlin have GRX810 shifters & callipers at £250 (62% off) which seems great (I don't know if this is indicative of 11 speed GRX being phased out, it seems a bit superfluous with 2 12 speed variants).

For anyone considering a Lupra, bear in mind that they are NOT waterproof. They have some waterproof panels but some non waterproof ones. End result is you get soaked, just in patches.

They also had quite a few pairs at my local store, prices vary a bit based on model / colours etc.  I picked up a set of Racecraft 2 as well.  Mirrored and clear lenses plus a pack of tear offs as well in the box.  Bargain.

The new one, Lupra 2.0, is a replacement for the Endure jacket so it is supposed to be waterproof.

I paid 72 gbp for my lupra from gore in jan.  V happy with it, more waterproof than the rapha trail jackets, but latter are more packable.  The hood is massive but has a few elastic toggles to make it smaller.  Sizing I d say the lupra comes up a bit small, mines xxl whereas my rapha trail jackets are xl.

I m pretty sure someone psa d both on here so thanks, top tip.

I'll echo that regarding sizing. I ordered both the Rapha trail jacket in XL and Gore Lupra in XXL (the original Infinium one) - also from PSAs on here I think. Kept the Rapha with it being lighter and more packable, whereas the Lupra was heavier and closer in purpose to another more waterproof jacket I already have. Would've like to have kept both but would've been overkill.

That's good to hear. The one on Sport Pursuit is the old version, so anyone buying one and expecting a waterproof tread with caution.

Yes Gr4 here got them from merlin ....just had 4 days down south Wales inc 2 days at bpw in the wet .....absolutely flawless......and I hated the tech 4 that came as part of a build on my last bike I took them off eventually.

These are brilliant all new caliper all new lever and it shows.

What didn't you like about the Tech 4? I had Tech3 E4 and they were dreadful but the Tech 4 V4s I have are brilliant.

Anyone used the new hope brakes?

Just got the V4's long time before I upgrade.

Though do we really need to, and does it tweak them that much to really be that different.

Perhaps its only just new names and what looks like a cam on the lever pivot. For V4 read GR4, for E4 read TR4 and it looks like they stuck with 'X2' because they couldn't think of anything new to call it.

The new sealed cap bleeding thing's a good idea, and hopefully it might work on the earlier lever just by swapping the caps over.

Maybe some kind person will know that and post the info up.

They stuck with X2 because it’s broadly the same calliper. GR4 replaces V4, but is not the same… not enough room for the old vented rotors. TR4 has different size pistons (and perhaps pads) to the E4.

Tech 4 V4s I have are brilliant

Same here. More control than any other brake I’ve ever used.

Continuing the tech Evo tangent.

Eldest will be onto a 24" bike soon. I was gonna stick some tech3 x2s on (to keep the bleed system the same)

I have

bike no1 :tech 3e4,

bike no2 tech 4e4

Do I swap their brakes and buy some tech3x2 for eldest (cost of 1 Evo end)

Or buy the tech Evo X2 and swap the calipers and levers around to make an evo-e4(and drop in stainless pistons) and a tech 3(Evo)x2
