Brilliant deal for a taller rider committed to full 29 though.
But, but, I could have two Konas for twice the price of that! 🙂
This popped up earlier and looks like a cracking bike for the money – https://www.balfesbikes.co.uk/bikes/mountain-bikes/trek-slash-97-slxxt-29-full-suspension-mountain-bike-2022-in-green__28341
It is indeed. This is one of the Balfes stock....

Highly recommended.
X01 10-50T 12-speed cassettes (XG-1295) for £175 at Merlin (£200 for the 10-52T version).
Very long-lasting cassettes (especially paired with X01 chains) and that's the cheapest I've seen them since Certini briefly had them for £160.
£100 for a set if 29er boost wheels, wont set the world on fire, but great if youve got a project on the cheap, or even as spates
https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/wheelset-mtb-29er-x-35mm-boost/
Paramount+ subscriptions down to £35 for a year, don’t have it myself but saw the offer posted on another forum
Very reduced GRX 1x mechs. They're also selling free hub seals for hope pro2 evo hubs for 4p. Sorry to see that it's because the shops closing down.
Shimano e6090 10 speed ebike chains £12.99. Bought a couple to go with my cheap 10 speed cassettes from wiggle.
Code RSC F+R inc rotors and adapters £220 at Stiff

Very reduced GRX 1x mechs.
There was a time a couple of years ago when you couldn’t get these for love nor money. They’re a weird cable pull or something IIRC so can only be replaced like-for-like. Turn tables etc. Sad times, really.

Pretty sure they are the same pull ratio as all 11 speed road stuff. It was the 10 speed grx 400/tiagra 4700 that used an 11 speed pull ratio instead of the usual 10 speed stuff.
Just had an email from Cotic about a juicy looking warehouse clearance sale;
Samsung watch 5 pro £329
£100 cashback and £100 trade in for any broken smar****ch so potentially will cost £129 direct with Samsung
https://www.samsung.com/uk/watches/galaxy-watch/galaxy-watch5-pro-black-titanium-bt-sm-r920nzkaeua/buy/
Samsung watch 5 pro £329
I've had this watch for a year or so now and it's a decent smart watch. By all accounts, seems better than the 6, for battery alone if nothing else.
Can load GPX files, does Strava better than my phone and obviously if you have a Samsung phone the integration is spot on. Fitness tracking probably isn't up there with a Garmin, but it's decent enough. At that price it's a bloody bargain. Looks nice enough too
Polaris waterproof socks half price
Just took delivery of one of these 'XLC' 150mm droppers I happened to need 30.9 with external routing.
To me it looks very similar to the Brand x ascend II that (last time I looked) was ~£130 on Chiggle but has been up and down between £70-150 on there.
£50 seems good IMO
At that price it’s a bloody bargain.
Yep really happy with mine and suits the svartling watch faces

@scruff thanks for the Polaris PSA, I’ve ordered! Always found Polaris stuff excellent quality, I may be biased as they gave me some when I cycled across Mexico many, many, years ago but some of it is still going strong.

Unfortunately, the T&Cs don't list any broken watches as being eligible (Appendix 2) and the maximum trade in for the Watch 5 Pro is mostly sub £50 (Appendix 1). You might get lucky, but it's not a given.
Unfortunately, the T&Cs don’t list any broken watches as being eligible
The selection for any broken smar****ch is in a drop down menu.
Seems they are now out of stock of the watch 5 pro but the offer is still available on the watch 6 classic but you only get £75 for any broken smar****ch.
I recently did a trade in on a Samsung Tab s9 and get the £100 trade-in value for an old Samsung tab S2 the wouldn't turn on.

The selection for any broken smar****ch is in a drop down menu.
Which says "up to" - I'm just saying to be aware that you may not get the cashback (according to the T&Cs).

Fair enough. I can only go from my experience when I traded in an old smar****ch and an old tablet on different occasions. Both times I got the full trade-in value. But as you say I might have been lucky
Yep really happy with mine and suits the svartling watch faces
Use this on mine and the same face in black on my old Galaxy Watch 46mm

Very nice Sir. Also like the strap. Where did you get it from?

Was an option over the silicone strap when I bought it from the Samsung site

175mm 30t for £28.99.
Fancy Fulcrum gravel wheelset in 700c XDR flavour at a good price. Fortunately I'm happy with my cheapo Prime ones.
Gosh, those Rapid Red 3 gravel wheels look a steal, unfortunately I picked up a pair of DT Swiss G1800s for £170 a while back.
I'm not sure how the 2 sets compare but I'm sure that the DTs will be fine (still possible to get the G1800s for a similar price if anyone is interested - wiggle.com/search?query=G1800).

Anyone seen a decent deal on an external routed, 27.2 x 125mm dropper?
I assume 125mm is the max for a 27.2? Not seen one longer 🤔
Uberbike have another 20% off, code MERRY20.
assume 125mm is the max for a 27.2? Not seen one longer 🤔
Rase used to do a external 200mm dropper in 27.2. CRC had a few 27.2 droppers on cheap- I ended up drilling my kids frame and fitting an internally routed one for £40 or so
The Trek Slash 9.7 mentioned further up the thread can now be had for £2,340 using code FESTIVE10 for an extra 10% off.

Northwave shoes at Tredz. Has anyone got any experience of them? I normally size up to a 42 in Shimano
I tried their Clan flat pedal shoes and found them more narrow than others.
Can't comment on Shimano but my two pairs of 45 North wave shoes are the same size as my recently purchased DHB pair.
Very good quality shoes, would snap them up at that price.
I fit 44 in Northwave and 44 in Shimano.
I have narrow-ish feet.
Which reminds me of:

12Fifty bikes had full, boxed X0 transmission groupsets for half price (just under £850 I paid from memory).
There are others selling them around a grand it looks like.

careful with those as they don’t fit EP8 motors, only the older series.

some brake pads for less than a fiver
I think those are resin pads (unless others are in stock) - best avoided
That is a shame about the Vaude stuff. I ordered couple of the panniers. Just checked my order on their website and it is no longer there but I have not had an email from them. Cheeky buggers
5lab that's all I use on E Bike and my 29er HT
Same here with the vaude. Order cancelled. TGTBT

Not a massive saving, but Hope brakes are rarely more that 15% discount. V4s are £161 and E4s £150 from CRC currently.
Bagged a LHS V4 for £160 before they sold out. RHS were £183 at the time, so got one for £178 from Merlin with a discount code. Oh well 😅

Tredz would have price matched it.
Opposite side and out of stock?. What lunacy is this?
If you have chonky legs and bad taste/poor eyesight, Endura Singletrack II knee pads can be had for a mere £19.99 (though you'll need to find some other fantabulous bargains to bump your order over £25 for free postage)

If you have a loving of the obscure and brands so underground they will bamboozle (and possibly alienate) your friends, you could plump for these ALAUDARK PLUME for a similar £19.99 price tag, albeit with free postage and a bit more size flexibility to boot!

Gutted, they only have tiny and massive left. I use these in my ebike, bugger to remove tyres but they protect the rim brilliantly
