If it doesn't fit you purple moose can I go next in line for the bell helmet 😄
It's a shame they're so awkward looking, because £499 for a carbon Bird Aether frame is certainly cheap
https://www.bird.bike/product/aether-9c-frameset/#configuration
Surely they could get them repainted and take less of a hit. £1000 buys a lot of paint. Could even charge more for custom or ltd editions
99bikes with some heavy discounts on Bold. Assuming hidden rear shocks are your bag…
Onzadog - I know. Maybe they got them for free as a messed up order from their supplier.
I've never liked the way these look or wanted a carbon frame in general, but I don't have a full suss right now and the price drop has got me tempted.
It’s a shame they’re so awkward looking
It's five hundred quid for a carbon frame.
They all look the same covered in mud.
Take the bargain and tell everyone who will listen what you paid .... or pay full price and forget about it.
This has got me all confused. I was swaying towards the buy button for a Cotic Jeht, having previously liked the Aether 9A which isn't in stock til late this year. Then this weekend I noticed those Bold Linkin deals, which are very tempting. And now these bargain 9Cs.
I previously ruled out the 9C based on it being more expensive and uglier than the alu, as well as being heavy for carbon with a bit of a reputation for hardware issues.
But £500...!
Those Bold look great money but not a lot of info on them
Ive just read it and came back for the psa link 🙂 I really should back down a bit ....
Anyone want a large Bell helmet before I send it back? Send me a message and we can discuss postage etc.
Have sent a message to you captaintomo
Had a look on @mattoutandabout 's link (disclaimer - because I ride for Roots) and £600 off a £1500 XC hardtail and a grand off a Slash looks pretty good to me.

Lots of items 50% or more off over at Polaris
For the man who prefers braces
https://www.polaris-bikewear.com/polaris-discovery-wet-weather-trail-short.html

In sure they are good, but they look a bit oompa band
I've got some of those in a fetching deep turquoise. They're slightly too small but otherwise they're brilliant. Not much use on a full wet rainy day (obviously they're shorts...) but puddly splashy days, the high back keeps the splashes on the outside. Wear a top over the braces and no one thinks you've left your tuba behind.
Not sure what happened to Polaris. They've had that sale on for ages now and seem to be set up as a market place type site rather than just selling their own gear. Shame because their padded undershorts were my absolute favourite. I've got a couple of their jackets and a fleecy soft shell thing that are excellent.
@bens I think someone has bought then and are currently planning new designs. They are currently trying to shift the old stock.
Not sure if this should be posted here but it looks as though Ethical Superstore are offering 1 day reductions on selected products. Today you can get up to 33% off selected Miniml personal care, cleaning and laundry products. This includes various 5 litre products making quite a saving.

You're surely wearing a jersey and a jacket if it's wet enough for waterproof shorts and braces though
Agree its a strong look if you go with just shorts and braces
Good shout with the polaris stuff - FYI there waterproof socks are the best I've ever had, miles better than sealskinz in my experience. They are a bargain for thirteen quid.
Even more of a bargain when they're 2 for £20 or 3 for £24
£2.99 postage on top
Noticed some more reductions, namely 30% off, that may be of interest. Coffee and cleaning products respectively.

Isn't it always the way that once you've ordered something it gets reduced. 20% off OceanSaver products and fwiw am happy with the recent switch to their laundry sheets.

Cannondale wheels half price at Merlin

There's piles of Montane stuff in their sale. Minimus jacket is £74. Anyone ever used one of these for running/mtbing?
I had a Minimus as well in 2016, used it for the Tour Divide in some horrible conditions and it never let me down. Sadly lost it somewhere between the finish line and Phoenix. I'd definitely buy another, in fact I'm tempted by these....?
Can we go back to individual PSAs for decent bargains, I'm sick of checking this ruddy post only to be constantly disappointed by the updates.
My intention when I started the thread was literally what the title says, but it's become THE psa thread somehow, perhaps aided by being pinned.
This thread really works well for me! Having all the PSAs in one place is so much more convenient.

I found that ^^ post particularly disappointing.
I do enjoy the thread title every time I see it on the front page.
Anyway, I wouldn't want to disappoint noeffs, so Sale of Etnies trainers. (How do you pronounce Etnies anyway?)

Big savings on Norco at Leisure lakes, including the excellent 2023 Optic.
@kitchener I have a Minimus for running. I bought my wide one too. I'm not sure I'd use it for MTB though as it really is very light and feels quite delicate. It wouldn't stand up to a fall and would likely even be ripped by thorns etc.
Have they changed the fabric recently or have I misremembered which Montane jacket I had? It certainly wasn't a flimsy item.
Lapierre lite eMTBs 40% off, as reviewed by STW. I'm very tempted despite the Fazua reliability and support horror stories, and the headset cable routing.

planet X frame sale.
london road for £150, XL whippet carbon for £200...huntsman and scandal also for £200.
I'm teetering on a whippet. I don't need it, but, well, £200?
£200 for a carbon frame does seem hard to ignore! These never-ending Planet X deals aren't helping me sell my lightly used Scandal frame though... keep meaning to list it, but it's probably only a hundred quid's worth right now.

If its a medium, PM me, as I might be interested in taking that off your hands to replace my BigWig with a seized seatpost!
Sorry, XL I'm afraid.
^^ Shimano M520 SPD pedals are £28 or less everywhere quentyn.

This thread works for me too. I keep forgetting it's there so don't spend any money on constant PSA threads!
This thread has almost cost me a lot of money. I love a bargain. Be strong Ambrose, be strong!
I know reviews on here have been a bit mixed but Unite Components have 20% off this weekend with the code UNITE20
I’ve taken a punt on some 155mm cranks for £162.98 including postage to try on my Squatch with its pedal strikingly low BB. Benefits to me are DUB BB so it will slot into what I have and they take a SRAM chain ring so again what I already have plus readily available.
A bit too heavy to take on the bike but bought one yesterday to put in the camper for general duties
https://www.lidl.co.uk/p/parkside-bike-tool-kit-41-piece-set/p10015688
Worth its weight in gold today as we needed to restring the fly screen on the habitation door.
The ratchet was the only tool that would go behind the ledges to remove and replace 14 screws
I got one of those as well, as you say it's not good to take on the bike but its a good little ratchet for most jobs and has all the bits you need, even has round ended allen bits.
anyone know if those unite cranks can be run with a 55mm chain line? I know you can get a dub axle but I think I would struggle for clearance on a slash with standard dub sizing.
