You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Yup, prices back to RRP. The helmet i was after has jumped from £17.99 to £99.
I'll keep looking.
Shame about the Giro site, I'll bet you thought all of your Christmases had come at once 😆
Giro sale back on slightly higher prices but even lower with additional 30% off with the DRAKE30 code!!
URGE helmets with a large discount on sport pursuit. Some rapha stuff on there too, i dont know about their prices
If its not £9 Giro shoes, I'm just not interested 😂
The Ventannas that I've got don't even come up narrow. Probably the best fitting shoes I've had. Well, the most 'normal' fitting anyway.
WARNING - I was just about to put my CC details into the very plausible looking https://www.girouk.com to get a £250 Manifest helmet for £56 but pretty certain its a scam CC harvesting site given Giro.co.uk is the domain my order confirmations have come from in the past.
I found a Gore site that looks dodgy too. Seems to be few about.
We'll contact Giro and check this domain but it does look suspicious. The domain girouk.com was registered just last year and via a domain registration service, Paknic in ****stan.
Just a reminder on this thread. If you do spot a great deal, please help us out and include a link to the site. Our site will grab any affiliate commission automagically from outgoing links. You don't need to do anything other than include a link to the deal.
Cheers
Mark
I placed an item in the basket on that Giro site and unlike the genuine one where you get a shipping screen this one just tells you to register or log in. It’s pretty plausible though. Even has an https cert… 🙁
Good sleuthing.
Now, has anyone seen any good deals on boost 27.5 rear wheels?
Missing the CRC jumble sale.
Going to turn this into a story to try and grab some SEO on the matter so it shows up in search as a warning.
Giro order (the proper site) has just been cancelled, with an apology from them for the bonkers prices.
Oh well, £9 shoes never quite happened...
I’ve been refunded for the £70 gloves for &1.70 but the jacket using the code is being delivered apparently!
they offered me a extra 30% off code, as an apology... but it doesn't work with already-discounted items. Not a good week for the website team.
I’m not sure this one’s valid .
i did have one for %25 the other day bait can’t for the life of me find it .
Didnt realise you could pause your subscription and was thinking of cancelling over summer - but had actually decied to keep it as dont mind supporting it during few months of hopefully decent weather.
But at that higher price I'll definitely be cancelling and maybe trying an alternative in the winter.
My order from the genuine giro website also cancelled. Shame but had low expectations given it was an obvious pricing error. Will carry on wearing my 13 year old shimano shoes 😂
70% off a decent looking, small ladies e-shopper bike for anyone https://www.konabikeshop.co.uk/ecoco-dl-2021.html
SportPursuit has some five tens in.
RSP plummet dropper post £34.99 from cycle revolution. Good for a cheap replacement.
30.9 x 125 drop
Ride Concepts Vice shoe, for £28 on Sportspursuit: https://www.sportpursuit.com/catalog/product/view/id/3055032
I frequently ride in Vans, and the RC Vice are stiffer and a bit bulkier (but more protective), and with my wide-ish feet needed to remove the insole to prevent my feel feeling too cramped. I bought size 10 and normally buy size 10. Eur 41-46.5 available.
Thanks @flyingpotatoes just got myself 2 posts for wife and me, free postage as well! I had just bought one for over that price so that can go back, happy Friday!
Planet X are having a bit of a frame sale.
Silk Road Ti at £599 and London Road Ti at £499.

Guide REs sub £45 on tredz. Looks like rear only but my go to brake for power vs vfm
Don't the levers flip flop on sram brakes? So order 2 rears and just shorted the hose on the front one
Use code GAVZGDQL98 for £5 off
https://www.tredz.co.uk/.SRAM-Guide-RE-Disc-Brakes_102709.htm
Pair of 4 pot brakes for £87
EDIT: They are fronts, sop you'll need to buy a longer hose for the rear and bleed up
yes many sram are ambidextrous
Thanks, that does seem a good deal, but may keep looking as would need to buy a bleed kit and new hose to make it work. Fussy bugger I know.
That Strava code seems to have expired - any others available please?
guide res are also on offer at orange..

Did I imagine somebody requesting if anybody knew where they could get a XT 10speed rear mech? I just saw this lowly Deore 10/11speed rear mech, for £25 might be worth a shot at that price?

For anyone else trying the Strava PSA -
I couldn’t get it to work on my existing subscription so I cancelled my subscription and hoped to try the code once my last month had run its course. But now the codes expired…
but then Strava offered me a year at half price to rejoin. so well worth doing a fake cancellation if you’re an existing subscriber.
"Specialized All Condition Armadillo Elite Bike Tyre- 700x28c Folding"
My Sirrus came with the 2012 version of Specialized 700x28c Armadillos and they were the worst tyre I've ever used. They were horrible to ride, difficult to fit, and not that puncture resistant. Hopefully they've improved.

How long until you got sent the email with the half price offer? My subscription runs out in October and was set to renew for £55
I've cancelled the subscription and hoping they will email offering half price to sign in up again but im not holding my breath
Anyone small enough for a cheap Yeti ARC?
https://www.bike-components.de/en/Yeti-Cycles/ARC-TURQ-Carbon-29-Frameset-p84820/?v=125036-turquoise
Won't that Yeti be back at full price by the time you've paid import duty and VAT?
Nah, assuming you are in the UK, the pre and post discount prices are both sans vat. With vat it was around 2100 Eur.
Agree that it's not that amazing an offer
🤷♂️
PSAs that may or may not be amazing enough to warrant their own thread
An ARC Turq frame is currently £2k in the UK...that frame will be ~£1200-£1300 (after exchange/VAT/Duty). Up to an £800 seemed like a decent saving to me.
I sit corrected 🙂
My main reason for posting was just to answer fin's query around VAT
The cheap tyres were not to be, sigma sports refunded today
By the way oneup components have a sale - just got myself a pump with an edc inside for my gravel bike https://uk.oneupcomponents.com/ took 2 days from order to arrive
Thanks quentyn, been thinking about getting an EDC pump for a bit so that's pushed me over the edge
Some really good deals on Terrex bits on Sports Direct/House of Fraser, have always found it to be great quality kit. A lot of ski and trail running kit but most will be bike suitable too, just picked up a Goretex jacket for under £40
