Thanks! I was too slow to get a whole wheel but have managed a hub 😃
Thank the lord none of the 29er dissent frames were in XL.
Otherwise I'd have been severely tempted.

can you change out the back end of the mullet one for a couple of quid?
IM NOT LISTENING 😬😬😬😬
so.. i have the e-mythique sat in my basket, I'm not going to... simply because i had made a promise to (myself) to get rid of stuff before buying a big ebike
they look remarkedly amazing value now... obviously, buying on the premise of no support , i would imagine the Bafang motor is easy to get support and repairs and/or replacement anyway in event of failure.

and responding to my own PSA, I’ve now also bought the 20+ for my daughter. Been wanting that bike for my 5 year old daughter since it was deeply discounted late last year, even though she’s still too small for it now.
Now I’ll be spending all summer measuring her inside leg and her asking me why… and wondering if I can hold out until her birthday in… January 2025!
It’s mad, her second bike has cost me less than her first did, a second hand frog 44! And this one’s got gears and disk brakes!
I also got one of the last Vitus 20+'s for my 5 year old. New bike day for him next week if order is successfully processed.
i would imagine the Bafang motor is easy to get support and repairs and/or replacement anyway in event of failure.
Do they have a dealer network and is it a popular motor?
I'd look into it carefully before taking the plunge, maybe ask on an eeb forum?

Full MemberCan I ask, is there a way to run thru axle bikes with this type of trainer? Nothing on the Q&As on the site as far as I can see?
https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/elite-shaft-adapter-diameter-10-a-12/136056462/p?
Used this on mine. Looks like it shouldn't work but does. In fact I'm still using it with a lifeline dumb trainer and a power meter.
It's a bargain trainer at that price. Bearings on mine died in a damp shed with sprints up to 1250w after 3 years. Acceptable I thought.
Google Elite thru axle adapter

Thanks for that, £36 for a front wheel delivered, cant pass that up.
My chiggle fire sale bargain pick of the day:
BX replacement dropper cartridges £2.99
Made sure to get an order in for 3 before sharing 😉 (if I'm lucky the order will turn up before they go pop).
I'd rather be able to repair a discontinued dropper 3 times over at 3 quid a throw than have to buy a new one...
I'm on the lookout for some nice racy summer/turbo trainer SPD shoes if anyone has seen any corking deals...
There are full sets of lifeline brake hoses for 99p (2 hoses plus fittings) on wiggle/crc. Maybe check the reviews before deciding if this is somewhere you want to save money though
34.9mm crank brothers dropper 100mm - £29.99 No lever though
£7 dropper lever worth a spare
Not a mega reduction, but cheapest I've found Microspline cassettes: SLX £55 and XT £77.50: https://brink.uk/products/shimano-slx-m7100-cassette
https://brink.uk/products/shimano-xt-m8100-cassette

those hoses are ok, ive used them a few times. i dont believe the reviews of hoses just exploading. the hayes ones look identical to the oem ones. The shimano and sram hoses look identical to other reputable resellers hoses.
Down to the last of the top spec megas and gigas now in small and xxl. The code EXTRA10 works on CRC, bringing a 6.5k bike with XX/X0 AXS t type, Zeb ultimate, code rsc and revive dropper down to less than 3k. Worth buying to then do a frame swap, even if you hang the wrong size giga frame on the wall!
If anyone fancies a wireless dropper, brand x ones, in 30.9, for £198 with the code.

FFS, scratch that. I was trying to buy 5 bikes….

Thanks, Exactly what was needed. Get it from CRC for an extra 10% off with EXTRA10

😮 I've had a dispatched notice on the hope pedals that have been sat "processing" for 5 days. I honestly didn't expect to get them at this stage someone at CRC is still putting in a shift.
If you’ve got little feet, size 36, these winter boots are an incredible deal:
https://www.wiggle.com/p/fizik-terra-artica-x5-gtx-off-road-shoes?color=purple&euShoeSizes=EU+36
I did spend a while looking at the Hope F22 in black £102 minus 10%. They've gone now which is probably for the best as I've heard they don't suit a mid foot position very well as they're longer in front of the axle than behind
Hopefully the 45s will come down again.
Daughter announced tonight her SPD shoes are too small so also hopefully some of the remaining 38s (of any shoe) will drop.

Troy Lee Designs Skyline Air Long Sleeve Jersey £22.75 at Merlin

reverb is not a bargain at any price... 🙂
https://www.wiggle.com/p/dhb-hydron-robe - half-price (£50) for a wannabe #dryrobe****er. Also long-sleeve versions available for £66. Not available on CRC before anyone looks there for extra discount.
Nice one cheers Ally, medium dry robe in black ordered for £40.
And tool roll added on thanks Sucka.
Still waiting for dispatch notes on my purchases from late last week, I assume others are too?
At 187cm I ordered the large in green. Surprisingly roomy even at my height/girth.
Order processing definitely slower but not surprising. Last order I placed was Monday last week is despatched but not yet showing with EVRI.
Put a handlebar through my waterproof shorts and bib shorts yesterday. Any recommendations?
prime is now in the fire sale,
440mm drop orro gravel aero carbon bars £27 on CRC EXTRA10 code only 7 in stock, 19 this morning..

Cheap enduro bikeThat discount tells a story about how many of them Lapierre shifted, and yet still not even slightly appealing

Be more careful? 😉
friend just bought a megawatt for £2k, not sure if the extra10 code works
it does
friend just bought a megawatt for £2k, not sure if the extra10 code works
It does: https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/nukeproof-megawatt-297-comp-alloy-bike-advent-x. The GX model at same price appears to have sold out. That's a lot of bike for £1800.
some more cuts on chiggle..
12 speed deore shifter for £10 after code https://www.wiggle.com/p/shimano-m6100-deore-12-speed-rear-shifter?color=black&position=Right+I-Spec+with+Display&speed40022=12+Speed
12 speed xt for £22 https://www.wiggle.com/p/shimano-xt-m8100-12-speed-shifter?color=black&position=Left+I-Spec+EV&speed40022=2+Speed
That XT shifter is a LEFT HAND shifter, i.e. 2x, not 12x.
https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/vitus-rapide-fs-crx-mountain-bike
only XL left.
with EXTRA10 takes it to £1800.
I'm really really struggling not to buy one. I think my wfe would kill me.
You could sell all the bits for more than that bike is costing. Mine was 2.4k, 1800 is just nuts
My bank balance is thankful it's only in XL 😳
Vitus Mythique £765 (with EXTRA10). Not sure about the X-fusion suspension, any real world opinions on it out there?
https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/vitus-mythique-29-vr-mountain-bike
I've been watching those Rapide FS for a while and was hoping size L was going to drop again after the weekend. Sunday morning though and a couple sold overnight so only 1 left.... so I bought the last one at £2025 plus delivery after code.
Absolute bargain - a heck of a lot of bike for the money. Just compare against what NS sell the synonym at let alone what other manufacturers are selling carbon frame/rims, SID Ultimate, decent kit and brakes, SRAM AXS... wow.
I pulled forward a longer term bike purchase as I can't see anything touching that in value for a long time.
You were right to bag it cp, for sure. Even if plans change you’d be quids in.
https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/brand-x-ascend-xl-internal-dropper-seatpost
170mm Brand X dropper 30.9 (I'll be shimming mine up to 31.6), £58.49 with EXTRA10 code
I think those gigas are a bit snappy...so I'd exercise caution.
Don't take my word for it by any means - Google it.
So are the rapides, but for these prices…
@lovewookie I'm also in the same position, my wife would kill me if I bought another bike! I only bought 3 MTBs last year....
I know there are some fantastic deals out there but id be reluctant to drop good money on a Nukeproof when they have called it a day ..no back up ..Buying for parts to swap over is one thing but Ive known a few friend having to return and pray for replacement frames due to snappage ..
Was having this discussion about nukeproof and vitus bikes earlier , would it be possible to charge back on a section 75 if it breaks assuming you’ve bought on a credit card
Agreed @stevedoc. I bought a vitus before Xmas but it was with the full knowledge that I may be left with a support problem. The parts were worth way more than what I paid for the whole bike though.
I am kind of considering buying another full bike to sell all the parts and get a spare frame almost for free. A lot of faff and risk though.
If someone could buy all the XXL megas left then I'd really appreciate it so I can stop thinking about it!
Pretty sure that there's a time limit on a section 75 charge back - 3 or 6 months? Something like that. You'd also need the agreement by your card supplier that the item was faulty at the point of purchase iirc.
Brand X 12 speed HG cassettes
