You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Yes, worth checking both. I found wiggle had cheaper prices but the discount codes worked on CRC.
Not as big a discount as some of the Chiggle items on here, but there are good deals to be had on some Castelli kit if they have your size - I got an Alpha ROS 2 Light jacket for £75.
(Italian sizing rules apply)
Just took the plunge with 2 x DHB dryrobes for the kids at £50 each. They're both just over 5' so hopefully the Adult M won't totally swamp them.
Also, excellent MTBing softshells @ £36 (I bought 2 yesterday for Mrs a11y and me when they were £48…): https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/dhb-trail-mens-hooded-softshell-jacket
@A11y what is the sizing like? is it an off the bike style jacket?
@A11y what is the sizing like? is it an off the bike style jacket?
IMO typical MTB sizing* - not too baggy, not too tight. I've got both DHB and NP equivalent, both XL, and DHB is a snugger cut which I prefer. Tried a large which is perfect in the body but too short in the arms for me.
^^^ a11y is modelling the NP equivalent in size XL, at 187cm and 90kg and finds it a bit baggy
* definitely NOT Italian (or Swiss) sizing rules - my £61 Assos EQUIPE R HABU Winter Jacket S9 arrived this morning and is a nice snug fit on me in XXXL. That's three Xs in the sizing and I'm not a biffer!
Needed a vitus hangar and there was hundreds last night. Wanted to check the bike on my lunch and theres None now. Guess the vultures have been in and they will all appear on ebay.
Specialized Enduro Expert S3 30% off with a further 20% code at Evans
Ordered a set of Hope pedals 2 days ago when they were showing as in stock, now showing as OOS and my order as still "processing".
Sad to see CRC go I guess I might be turning to my credit card for any refund though 😞
I'd hold out hope yet, I had an order that still said processing after it was delivered. And when they didn't have stock of an item they emailed and I had the refund in the bank the same day.
Takes a while. Ordered some hope pedals a couple of days and only got dispatch notification late last night

Same here. I'm not particularly attached to the Sentier frame though so if I bend a mech hanger it's a good excuse for a new frame 😉
Got a Brand X headset from CRC for a tenner to replace the terrible Acros one that came with the Sentier. Lasted ages on my other bike so hopefully the same for this one!
Hope front wheels reduced to £118
Use code EXTRA10 at CRC for extra 10% off
OH bought some Merrell GTX walking boots from wiggle for £31 a couple of days ago (arrived today) they are back up to £130-odd now.
Thanks @fueled - bought a 140 for £5 and 160 for £10 earlier.
Not quite xt, but Ribble has RT70 slx down to £11 each. Can’t link right now but sure you will find it
Finding the Wiggle sell off slightly surreal tbh. Meanwhile, Merlin currently has Fabric saddles at some pretty hefty discounts including Canadian and Californian flag-logoed ones and a highly attractive bright pink Cell Radius Elite for a tenner. Fortunately I am a dog of strong will power...
https://www.merlincycles.com/brand/fabric/

Don't worry, the mech hangers typically aren't Vitus specific, the Vitus Energie Evo / Substance / Vitesse Evo are a Fuji hanger that's used on loads of bikes and you can get them from various places.
Those cell saddles are proper comfy. I have a green one on my commuter
lots of hope pro 5's for £137 still a hefty discount if you are building wheels, mainly boost 28 spoke with diff freehubs
Good to know, they're still refunding. I'd already ordered a load of other bits in separate batches that had all turned up with no problem. Pedals would be the last items so I'll hold it hope for now 😋
I caved in again for dhb soft shell jacket and NP black line packable jacket 🤦
I need to stop buying stuff now.
Out of most nukeproof parts now. Anyone know where else I can order a spare hanger or pivot kit for a 2022 Giga?
Sorry if this has already been done.
Just bought a SRAM DUB BB from Ribble for a tenner

I know I am not supposed to ask but I placed my Wiggle order of Fox helmet and shoes Monday 26 Feb and still only processing.
Has anyone placed an order on Monday and got any further ? Did it include the same as me?
Cheers
I put 2 orders in on Monday night. One turned up yesterday. The others still processing.
(Oddly, the one I placed last is the one I received)
I bet the remaining staff are swamped.
Has anyone placed an order on Monday and got any further ? Did it include the same as me?
I placed an order on Tuesday (different stuff), dispatched yesterday and at the delivery depot now.
Ordered a Giro helmet and some Troy Lee shorts on Monday. Both delivered today in same box

same here, its just arrived and is spot on (in fact I now have 2 of them). 🙄
@bikerevivesheffield good spot. Just bagged a pair for the wife's bike.

My mate snapped one of these at BPW recently.
Just buy the butgtec nylons.
My mate snapped a burgtec nylon at BPW recently.
Just buy the Nukeproof ones
(Aren't 99.9999% of pedals just made by Wellgo?)
PSA: sometimes things snap.
The neutrons are the worst pedal ever made and I wouldn't buy them for a tenner unless the wheels of the bike never left the ground.
Sorry to go off topic but comparing the np neutrons to the burgtec is hideous and no not all nylon pedals are made by wellgo
Monday orders arrived yesterday and today.
Vitus 24" kids bike down to £230. Been keeping an eye on those since they first went into administration but they had never shifted much below standard retail price.
Shame I bought myself a bike in the meantime with all that checking or I would have saved some money.
Caffeine Gels 40p a pop in a box of 20
https://www.wiggle.com/p/beelite-caffeine-energy-gels-20-x-38g
My £479 buzz Ebike arrived earlier.
Bike looks better than expected, not super cheap looking, and the parts look reasonably well made.
Only one niggle, the front wheel isnt happy about fitting into the dropouts, it was extremely tight, and i did wonder if the dropouts were aligned and might be twisted.Fitted it doesnt look like it is exactly, seems to be oriented correctly, but only taken cursory glance at it, but the front wheel isnt spinning freely, though this could be down to the caliper positioning, and seems the rotor is rubbing.
Compared to my full fat emtb it looks tiny, but it is only to save using the full fat for everything.
I'll need to change the stem, to a steep 20d rise and swop the bars for risers, but other than that all is good.
.
Annoying about that front wheel/fork though. I dont want to return it because its such a good deal, and if push comes to shove I can always get a cheap fork
Seems to be a fairly large selection of Sonder bikes and frames on SportPursuit today, mainly showing as 30% off (I have no idea how this compares with current prices/discounts directly through Alpkit).

Potentially my last CRC order (RIP). Ragley Trig gravel fork for £99 less 10٪, https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/ragley-trig-carbon-gravel-bike-fork
plus a pressfit installation tool
@davidmoyesismydad 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Been riding these for many years as have most of my riding group, grippy, light, cheap, comfortable , decent size, how can you say a pedal can be that bad???
I know I am not supposed to ask but I placed my Wiggle order of Fox helmet and shoes Monday 26 Feb and still only processing.
My order with a Fox mainfrmae helmet in is still sitting at processing from Monday too. I've had one order placed on the same day delivered and another couple placed afterwards are showing as despatched.
Sonder bikes and frames on Sportspursuit:
My Monday night wheel order has just been cancelled.
The neutrons are the worst pedal ever made and I wouldn’t buy them for a tenner unless the wheels of the bike never left the ground.
My wife's bike never leaves the garage so I think we'll be safe. 😀
@devash - It might explode though and destroy the house and/or city. I've heard neutrons do that sometimes.
Nukeproof's carbon Horizon V2 risers are down to £60 now or £54, I guess, with EXTRA10 from CRC. Really nice bars ime. Funny how half-price carbon starts feeling 'expensive' in the context of a slash and burn fire sale, when two weeks ago they'd have looked like an absolute bargain... Relativity I guess.
Ragley Trig forks are £99 on Wiggle if anyone's after a carbon gravel fork.
Ragley Trig Carbon Gravel Bike Fork | Wiggle
Ah man, I nearly bought that fork when it was £149.. Now I've bought a QR adapter for my wheel.. do I need the fork!? Decisions....
Ragley Trig forks are £99 on Wiggle if anyone’s after a carbon gravel fork.
I think they were mentioned a page or two ago - £89 on CRC with code EXTRA10.
any one tried them, not got my wheels to hand, not sure what the standard tooth is on prime orra terra gravel SR2D hub
@bikerevivesheffield they all develop a large amount of play after 2 3 rides.give yours a wiggle bum bum .😂
@whatyadoinsucka 36t I think (looking last night on the prime website)
For those with Prime wheels/hubs there are lots of tech docs on the Prime website. Probably worth downloading those relevant to your product before the site disappears!
Sorry if this has been done before.
Torn my ankle ligaments after a fall climbing. Need to do some rehab so bought this. I hate indoor training but needs must and not too expensive at £55 delivered. Comes with a years subscription to their training site worth £20.
For the money it gets great reviews

I don't have this, but my Madison equivalent is superb for freezing rides.
Can I ask, is there a way to run thru axle bikes with this type of trainer? Nothing on the Q&As on the site as far as I can see?

Insane price.
Anyone got any of the brand X helmets? Was going to grab one as a loaner, wondering what the fit is like.
Send a bit churlish to quibble on fit for 9 quid though..
