They're not sewn in. It's a seperate pair of undershorts.

How many of us have a stock of a variety of bits and pieces that we didn’t need but they were cheap on CRC/Wiggle?

Having learned my lesson with Superstar wheels I was doing OK and only buying stuff I need… until I bought a Vitus Sentier that is sitting un-ridden in the shed.  I imagined I would use it but now I’m not so sure… so I’m not sure I’d call it a bargain.

I feel a separate’what was I thinking’ thread.
Three sets of handlebars, just in case, and a gorgeous stem in a colour that matches nothing.
Although 2 of the handlebars are in big rise to try on my clunker. £7.50 each sooooo…

Sorry if this has been done but Merlin are selling a workshop box of Shimano gear cables for 1/3 of its RRP. Good timing as I'd just run out of the 50p Clarks cables CRC were selling around a year ago. 100 seems excessive but I counted up 15 gear cable systems in use in the house at the minute, and sure, they don't go off...

Not as good a deal as the box of 100 Shimano stainless steel gear cables on ebay for £40 couple months ago. Doubt we'll see that again.

Are those Merlin cables stainless steel?

It doesnt say so, and mentions anti corrosion coating....could they be galvanised?

If the picture on Merlin is correct then those inners are stainless. I still have a pile spare in the classifieds for less than that if anyone needs to stock up mind..

did anyone get on of the cheap exposure diablo mk3 sync last week, mines arrived today and no "QR handlebar mount" in my box, as per description and pictures,
to be honest i think the listing is incorrect as you dont normally receive one with exposure lights.

Beware on the Camber helmet, the straps are in a VERY weird position and the rear one sits on top of your ear instead of behind it.

@whatyadoinsucka I did. Listing was wrong and it wasn't supposed to be included. I argued that isn't my fault and they gave me a £20 voucher.

"A bargain is only a bargain if it’s what you’re looking for!"

This is true - which is why I'm claiming this, if they turn up (and I know its an If...) as the bargain of the century. Wanted some 'nice' XC wheels for ages, just nearly bought some used crossmax on ebay for more than these have cost.

Zipp Hitop S 30mm Carbon Wheelset. RRP about £1300.

£286.

https://www.wiggle.com/search?query=hitop

I've just had my order confirmed. I made sure it was confirmed before I posted here.

The even fancier one with ridiculous electronic tyre pressure monitoring is not even that much more either. at £399... The pair. RRP about £1600.

Mountain Warehouse backpacker tent

(corrected link) https://www.mountainwarehouse.com/backpacker-lightweight-1-man-tent-p284643.aspx/

use FUN20 to get a further reduction, brings the price down to around forty five quid, has anyone tried one of these?

weight seems good but not sure about the way it seems to open up, fine if it's not raining but if it is it could get things pretty wet?

I think I got a Pro5 / Fortus 26 rear wheel in boost 29er size for £62.

Confirmation email doesn't specify the exact hub setup though, so I'll be waiting in suspense.

thx for the headsup

Yep, similar here. Found the perfect wheel and it went out of stock while checking out. Found another with a SRAM instead and bought that. Will see what, if anything, turns up

I was all ready to buy a power meter and then remembered it's still £200 I'd rather spend on something else. Did end up buying some other crap though. Fingers crossed it all turns up.

I feel for all the staff who are going to be working hard right until the end.

Bleedin Wiggle site won't work for me. Had to reset my password as one I thought I had didn't work. Now it is asking for my one time passwood code to activate my account. No idea what that might be and where to get it. So went to my Chain Reaction account and the same thing there is still £120 rather than the £30 on Wiggle 🙁

Light grazing so far. Expensive sram 1x11 cassette down to £70, grx 810 shifters +1 caliper around £100 and a ixs body armour top down to £40. All stuff I've been looking at for the past week.

The wheels went really quickly!

My favourite kneepads, 81% off in M or XL, now £15.99 (a bit more in L): https://www.wiggle.com/p/ixs-flow-2-0-knee-guards?color=graphite&sizeStandard=XL

Taking a chance - as I'm unsure on sizing - on an Assos winter jacket to replace an ancient Altura Varium I bought yonks ago in Leckies in Falkirk (as did several from this forum at the time), 80% off: https://www.wiggle.com/p/assos-equipe-r-habu-winter-jacket-s9

Missed out on the Pro5 hubs - would've been nice to upgrade Mrs a11y's wheels but TBH she'd likely not appreciate them anyway!

@scotroutes - cheers. Just found some dimensions buried in the aeroe FAQs.

Looks like the fat rack is 200mm wide across the stays, and also says it can flex in by 20mm each side (so should flex to 160mm officially). Just measured my hardtail stays at 140mm....so another 10mm flex...might work?...Hmmm maybe.

Worst comes to the worst I could chop a section out of the middle and join the tubes back together, or even just get another tube fabricated (it's not rocket science is it).

Cradles are surely worth £22.50 each if it doesn't work and I need to sell them, so think I'll stick with the order rather than cancelling I think.

Always fancied a go with the aeroe system it looks great for doing proper off road with a fair bit of gear.

Picked up another Ebike. This one is a basic E-city commuter type, far better suited for going into town on, and is 1/12th of the price of my current ebike, so locking it up and leaving it wont present any anxiety.
.
https://www.wiggle.com/p/buzzbike-h700-urban-e-bike
£499- or £479 with 10% off and postage added. Says RRP £2499, but they were never that and previously crc had them at £1250, which seems about right. So all in all a good price.

Cannot believe the variances between some of the costs on wiggle vs crc eg I ordered a pair of those purple crank bros shoes last night for £27 from wiggle but on CRC the same shoes/size would be £90 less EXTRA 10 so £81. Also Troy Lee shorts there (also ordered) there are big differences too.
Still waiting for the dispatch notification as well, admittedly

I think maybe the fire sale hadn't actually started given the discrepancies in price.

Suprised they haven't just stuck it all on ebay, but they do seem to get a lot of non-paying auction winners given the amount of stuff they relist.
