These are great little lights, I have one on the bars when on the road. The light on the front is good enough to see where you are going and the red light on the back on flash points back at me lighting me up.

@cloudnine and santacruzsi

I saw the promotion in this months wmb, so I guess they will possibly hundreds if not thousands available.
And if the transaction goes through, they'll have to honour the contract.
So it looks like a win-win.

I don't think you need the code if you follow the link. If you ring them you'd need it to identify the offer you want.
There was loads of people that got then last year over quite a long period not just the first day or two.

I've bought the offer, worth a punt for the light alone!

Follow the link and it goes direct to the light offer, the code has already been applied so you don't need to key it in again to the basket.

Is this one of those auto renewing subscriptions or is it just 6 issues that's it ?

Seeing as it's direct debit it's auto renewing i think, you need to cancel.

You can ring to cancel at any point, they then give you the option to receive all the issues you've paid for or get a refund on the remaining issues.

I've just tried to cancel my sub so that it doesn't auto renew after the six months is up.

They said if I want to cancel now I'd have to send the free gift back, alternatively if I want to keep the gift I have to stay on for a year!!!

I've asked for clarification. I can't see any chat/small print about having to stay on year.

Has anyone else been through this?

That's bad news if true! I signed up this back in September and got the light no bother. The light is ace, I use it every day.

I'm not impressed with the mag though, it's about 15 mins reading max. I would honestly send the light back rather than pay for 6 more months.

Just cancel the direct debit after first payment is taken, I do it every year, never been chased to return any free gift and have signed up again with same details no problem
I'm currently on about my 6th 5 issues for £5 deal with MBUK and wmb, I tend to flick through them, read the odd bit and take them down to the local doctors surgery for their waiting room
